Question Is it true that Microsoft is retiring its Visual J# product? If there are no future development plans for Visual J#, how will this effect BlueDragon .NET?
Answer Microsoft is supporting Visual J# through 2017, as stated on their web site:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/vjsharp/default.aspx

Visual J# and BlueDragon.NET are fully supported on 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 (BlueDragon.NET was one of the first software products to receive Windows Server 2008 logo certification).

Our plans are to re-engineer BlueDragon.NET to remove the requirement for Visual J# prior to the release of the successor to Windows Server 2008.
