Question java.sql.SQLException: The cursor is READ ONLY.
Answer This exception occurs when you are using SCROLL_TYPE_INSENSITVE and CURSOR_UPDATABLE parameters with the createStatement() method. You cannot use this combination if you want to perform updates, inserts and deletes on the cursor. Another common reason for this exception to occur is absence of the Primary Key in the table in use.
