The following is a summary of the system requirements and supported platforms for BlueDragon 7.0 family of products:

BlueDragon 7.0 for the Microsoft .NET Framework

BlueDragon for the Microsoft .NET Framework allows you to natively integrate and deploy your CFML on the .NET platform. Leverage BlueDragon for native high-performance integration with COM, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, C# and Visual Basic.NET.

Deployable as a .NET Framework assembly residing in the .NET Global Assembly Cache (GAC), BlueDragon for the Microsoft .NET Framework offers true native platform deployment of CFML on the .NET platform.

BlueDragon 7.0 for the Microsoft .NET Framework is supported on the following systems:

    BlueDragon 7.0 is supported on Microsoft .NET Framework versions 2.0, 3.0, and 3.5.

    BlueDragon 7.0 also requires Visual J# .NET Version 2.0 Redistributable Package - Second Edition which is included in the BlueDragon installer.

    If you require deployment of BlueDragon on an OS/web server combination not listed above, please consider the other versions of BlueDragon offered below, such as Server JX and the J2EE edition.

    BlueDragon 7.0 for the Microsoft .NET Framework is not supported on Windows 95/98/Me/NT, nor on IA-64 platforms.

    BlueDragon 7.0 Server

    BlueDragon 7.0 Server is a standalone CFML server for Microsoft IIS on the Windows platform, and Apache HTTP Server on Mac OS X and Redhat Linux. BlueDragon Server also includes a built-in web server for development, testing and light deployment (i.e. embedded applications).

    BlueDragon 7.0 Server JX

    BlueDragon 7.0 Server JX is a standalone CFML server with support for the Windows, Mac OS X and Redhat Linux Platforms. Web Server adapters are included for Microsoft, SunONE, iPlanet/Netscape, and Apache web servers. BlueDragon Server JX also includes a built-in web server for development, testing and light deployment (i.e. embedded applications).

    Note: If you need to deploy BlueDragon on combinations of OS platform and/or web servers not listed here, consider using BlueDragon for J2EE Application Servers. BlueDragon/J2EE allows you to deploy CFML applications on any standard J2EE server (minimally supporting Servlet API 2.2 or higher).

    BlueDragon 7.0 for J2EE Application Servers

    BlueDragon/J2EE allows you to deploy CFML applications on any standard J2EE server (minimally supporting Servlet API 2.2 or higher). You can deploy your CFML as a standard J2EE web application and singularly from within a standard EAR/WAR file - without installing any additional CFML server or external application software.

    BlueDragon 7.0 for J2EE Application Servers runs on all platform and web server combinations supported by the following J2EE Application Server versions using JVM version 1.5 or 1.6 (unless otherwise specified):


    Are you a WebLogic customer? BEA now has their own branded, sold and supported version of BlueDragon offering native J2EE deployment of CFML applications on BEA WebLogic: BlueDragon, BEA WebLogic Edition.
