The following is a summary of the system requirements and supported platforms for the BlueDragon family of products:

BlueDragon for the Microsoft .NET Framework allows you to natively integrate and deploy your CFML on the .NET platform. Leverage BlueDragon for native high-performance integration with ASP.NET, ADO.NET, C# and Visual Basic.NET.
Deployable as a .NET Framework assembly residing in the .NET Global Assembly Cache (GAC), BlueDragon for the Microsoft .NET Framework offers true native platform deployment of CFML on the .NET platform.

Microsoft .NET Framework Support
BlueDragon 9.0 is supported on Microsoft .NET Framework versions 4.0 and higher.
If you require deployment of BlueDragon on an OS/web server combination not listed above, please consider the other versions of BlueDragon offered below, such as Server JX and the Java EE edition.

End of Support
BlueDragon 7.1 for the Microsoft .NET Framework uses Visual J# which reached end of support on 10/10/2017. The end of support for the latest operating system supported by it, Windows Server 2008 R2, is 1/14/2020. Therefore, it is highly recommended that customers use BlueDragon 9.0 for the Microsoft .NET Framework instead.

Microsoft .NET Framework Support
BlueDragon 7.1 is supported on Microsoft .NET Framework versions 2.0, 3.0, and 3.5.
BlueDragon 7.1 also requires Visual J# .NET Version 2.0 Redistributable Package - Second Edition which is included in the BlueDragon installer.
The following unsigned third-party files are installed by BlueDragon.NET 7.1.

BlueDragon 7.1 for the Microsoft .NET Framework is not supported on Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000, nor on IA-64 platforms.

BlueDragon 7.1 Server JX is a standalone CFML server with support for the Windows and Linux Platforms. Web Server adapters are included for Microsoft and Apache web servers. BlueDragon Server JX also includes a built-in web server for development, testing and light deployment (i.e. embedded applications).

Note: If you need to deploy BlueDragon on combinations of OS platform and/or web servers not listed here, consider using BlueDragon for Java EE Application Servers. BlueDragon/JavaEE allows you to deploy CFML applications on any standard Java EE server (minimally supporting Servlet API 2.2 or higher).

BlueDragon/JavaEE allows you to deploy CFML applications on any standard Java EE server (minimally supporting Servlet API 2.2 or higher). You can deploy your CFML as a standard Java EE web application and singularly from within a standard EAR/WAR file - without installing any additional CFML server or external application software.

BlueDragon 7.1 for Java EE Application Servers runs on all platform and web server combinations supported by the following Java EE Application Server versions using JVM version 1.5 or 1.6 (unless otherwise specified):
